Since it’s been awhile since I posted lyrics that mean something to me.

These wounds won’t seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There’s just too much that time cannot erase

You used to captivate me

  1. Didn’t you post this one already? Maybe not. I love this song too, although for some reason it doesn’t speak to me for the reason it was written (the loss of a lover)but rather the loss of a child. Mainly for these lyrics:

    When you cried I’d wipe away all of your tears
    When you’d scream I’d fight away all of your fears
    And I held your hand through all of these years
    But you still have
    All of me

    It is a very emotional song, and I think that is why it touches me so much.
