I wonder how long it will take to get started on the temple in Ukraine. It’s been anticipated for an awfully long time now.

It may be an issue with transferring money into the country and local tithing proceeds aren’t enough to build it by themselves.
I know some of those old eastern block countries have some pretty strict laws about moving money around.

The temple in Bogota was announced in 1984 and not dedicated until 1999. Of course, if you think that’s long, consider the Far West, Missouri Temple, which still hasn’t been completed, though the cornerstones were laid in 1838.
