		<description>&lt;p&gt;I was surprised back in &#039;85 when the new Enlgish hymnal came out with no anthem for Canada, Australia, and so forth.  I was told at the time that the plan was for such anthems to be added on a local basis.  The French hymnal I had at the time included Swiss, French, and Belgian anthems, if I remember right. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Maybe next time around we&#039;ll get more national songs in.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;On a side note, I was noticing yesterday that &lt;em&gt;My Country, &#039;Tis of Thee&lt;/em&gt; (sung, of course, to the tune of &lt;em&gt;God Save the Queen&lt;/em&gt;) is not really specific to the United States in its lyrics.  It could be---and I hope &lt;em&gt;is&lt;/em&gt;---sung about a lot of countries.&lt;/p&gt;
